yesterday lis and i, joined part way by rachael, set out to the downtown for a day of thrifting, coffee shops and all things vintage.
lis, also showed me how to use Sirius Canon Black a bit more properly and manually. so i photo documented some our adventures. (perhaps, occasionally, a bit too thoroughly) ;)
i took some real beauties, i have the incredible talent of capturing people at their best.
(don't worry lis, i'll keep em' for my private enjoyment)
:)
(see next blog post for pictures)
these are a few of the lovely places we went to:
(1) the bible's for misson thrift store. (i very much enjoy the lovely cheap prices, in comparison to value village. i picked up a swell little blazer and a meter of lace fabric, and lis found a couch...which we unfortunately had to leave behind)

(2) the white elephant. (this is a lovely little store, i must remember to come here when shopping for birthday/christmas/valentine gifts. Lis, send me a picture of that card? Aha)

(3) needlework. (this is a little fabric/sewing store, that just opened up at 174 James Street North. it's a beauty). to view their website, click this. (click it, it changes color)
